What is eMAG Genius?
For customers, eMAG Genius is a subscription they pay annually, providing them with premium benefits like free delivery over a certain threshold or access to special discounts.
For sellers, it is an opportunity to increase the visibility and conversion rate of the products, by accessing the Genius badge and the Genius filter on the eMAG.hu website.
Clients will be able to quickly recognize Genius products in listing and search based on their distinctive badge, and they will also have the option to use the dedicated filter, to narrow the results and display only Genius products:

- Genius products have a 2 times better conversion rate than non-Genius products in Romania, and we are positive that you will see the same great results in Hungary as well.
- You have the option to enroll your products in Genius Deals campaigns, dedicated to the Genius customers.
What is the value of the Genius contribution?
Starting January 1st, 2026, we are implementing a new commission grid for the Genius program. This adjustment allows us to continue and expand investments in technology and premium services for you and your customers.
New Genius commission grid:

The commission applies only to Genius products ordered by Genius customers, with locker delivery.
For FBE sellers, the commission also applies to Genius orders delivered to home.
Genius program variants
eMAG Genius easybox
- It is an extension of the Genius program, through which clients can benefit from free delivery to easybox for orders over 3990 HUF
- Qualified products are those eligible for locker delivery and have the active easybox delivery option.
- To join the program, you need to meet the eligibility criteria and sign the Genius Annex (please remember that until November 21st 2024, your products are automatically included in the Genius trial)
- In the eMAG Genius easybox program, you will pay a commission based on the value of Genius products in the order. As the locker delivery is a service provided by eMAG, you won’t have additional transportation cost for the Genius easybox program, you will only have to pay the Genius commission (after the free trial).
eMAG Genius
- You offer customers all the benefits of the Genius program (free delivery to easybox for orders over 3990 HUF, free home delivery and returns for orders over 8990 HUF.
- All products qualify, except for oversized ones.
- To join the program, you need to meet the eligibility criteria and be able to offer home delivery and returns.
- You can access the Genius program in the FBE program, where eMAG ensures delivery.
- In the eMAG Genius program, you will pay a commission based on the value of the Genius products in the order.
- To access the program, you need to sign the Genius Annex and request to us in the Message Center to activate the Full Genius benefits.
How to opt out of the eMAG Genius program
If you are part of the free trial or have signed the annex for one or more Genius options but have changed your mind and no longer want to be part of this program, you can write to us in the Message Center terminate the Annex.
