As online commerce continues to grow in 2022, and the activity of eMAG Marketplace online shops is increasing, this week we have prepared some recommendations to improve the visibility of your products through umbrella campaigns on the platform. @ As the last quarter ends, 2021 was an unprecedented year for the labour market. During the last twelve months, an intense wave of recruitment was visible across the country, companies started hiring heavily, and although the process slowed down somewhat in the last quarter after the autumn peak, overall the last quarter of 2021 saw 80 percent more job advertisements than the same period last year, according to Profession.hu’s latest quarterly report.

@ eMAG, together with PayU and Alpha Bank Romania, extended the Instant Money Back service to Hungary. Thus, eMAG customers who make online payments with a saved card and make a return, receive the value of the returned products within 30 minutes after the return has been resolved.

@ According to Eurostat, the unemployment rate in Hungary was 3.8% in November 2021, similar to the level recorded in the previous month. According to the analysis, our country is among the EU Member States with a low unemployment rate. At EU level, this rate fell to 6.5% in November 2021, from 6.7% in the previous month.

@ In 2021, China registered a record trade surplus, as exports exceeded expectations during the pandemic period. The trade surplus reached over 670 billion dollars in 2021, the highest level ever recorded, increased from 523 billion dollars in 2020.

How can you sign up for active campaigns on the platform?

To register products in eMAG umbrella campaigns, the first step is to go to Dashboard – Promotion – Campaigns. Here you can see all active campaigns to which you can add your offers. For each new campaign launched on the platform you will also receive a notification by e-mail, where you can check the requirements for participation.

The next step is to select the campaign you want to join. Keep in mind that you cannot add the same product in two different campaigns running at the same time. There are several filters you can use to quickly find the campaign you are interested in, such as campaign name, on-site stock (results based on campaigns that do or do not require on-site stock), unique campaign ID, start date and end date, validated offers, offers blocked in other campaigns, rejected offers or actions.

If you want to remove products from a specific campaign or if you have other questions about umbrella campaigns on the platform, you can contact us in the Message Center.

In case there are periods when you do not identify suitable campaigns for your portfolio, you could consider applying price discounts from the lowest price of the last 30 days. The percentage discount will be marked on the platform near the product, and this could attract the attention of customers interested in items in that category.
