In this tutorial we will show you how to manage the notifications you receive by email from the eMAG Marketplace platform.

To see all the types of notifications you receive by email, you need to click on the Notifications tab in the Dashboard.

In the notifications tab you have quick access to all notification subscriptions that you can activate or deactivate and you can set the emails where you prefer to be notified depending on the type of notification and the department.

At the top of the page is the filtering area where you can filter notifications by category, choose optional notifications, confirmed email and available languages.

  • You have several filtering categories available in the Category field. If you only want to view certain types of notifications, select the desired category and click the Search button.
  • In the Optional field you can filter according to the type of notifications. If you choose NO then only mandatory notifications will be displayed, and if you choose YES, then only optional notifications will be displayed. You need to keep in mind that you cannot unsubscribe from mandatory notifications.
  • With the Pending email confirmation filter you can check the notifications for which the email address is being confirmed or has already been confirmed.
  • In the Available languages field, you can filter all notifications according to the desired language.

Once you have selected the filter or filters you want, click the Search button. The results will be filtered immediately according to the criteria you have chosen.

The notification list gives you all the types of notifications you can subscribe to or unsubscribe from. You need to keep in mind that you can’t unsubscribe from mandatory notifications.

You can subscribe or unsubscribe by clicking the Subscribe / Unsubscribe button in the Actions column.

For each type of notification you subscribe to, you receive other information by email. For example, when you receive an order, when a product is activated / deactivated, when you have returns, you receive a new message, etc. It is important to subscribe to the most important types of notifications in order to be aware of the changes that occur in your account. Once you subscribe, a new window will open showing all email addresses to which notifications are sent and the available language.

To add a new email address click the Add Email Address button. Enter the email address where you want to receive notifications in the future and the selected language.

After completing the email address click on the Save button. You will receive a confirmation email for the new address. Only after confirmation will you be able to receive notifications on this email address.
