Two-factor authentication methods (2FA) on the platform

Two-factor authentication (2FA) provides extra security for your seller account.

To log in to your seller account, you need to enter a 6-digit OTP (One Time Password) digital code, which can be generated in two ways:

  1. Based on the OTP code received via SMS to the phone number provided during your first login to the account.
  2. With an OTP code received through an authentication application (Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator).

How to change the 2FA authentication method from your seller account?
  • Go to My Account – Profile menu.
  • Click on the Permissions tab.
  • Using the Actions button next to your user, a new window will open. The desired application authentication method appears here.
  • Press the button next to SMS to switch to 2FA SMS authentication.
  • The next time you log in to your seller account, you will receive an OTP code via SMS instead of using the Authenticator app.

Changing the 2FA authentication method on the login page:
  • If you use the 2FA authentication method through the application and would like to receive the OTP code via SMS again, you can modify it on the login page.
  • Click on the SMS link, and you will receive an OTP code via SMS.
  • If no phone number is set up in your user profile, the system will redirect you to the page where you can enter the phone number to which you would like to receive an OTP code every time you log in.
