API eMAG Marketplace is been developed by eMAG in order to offer to its sellers the opportunity to use their own product management systems to synchronizing them with the eMAG Marketplace platform.
The API import helps you synchronize your online store with the eMAG Marketplace platform and increase your sales. It is the fastest way to automatically send your current and new product documentation from your platform, directly to the eMAG Marketplace.
Also, you can receive the new orders from the eMAG Marketplace platform right onto your online store so you will be able to manage them faster and easier, without any confusion about the AWBs or invoices issued from the two platforms.

How to use the API integration:
1. We advise you to ask for an IT specialist services, in order to better help you manage all the technical settings needed to integrate your platform with the eMAG Marketplace platform.
2. Use the API documentation support, sent by us, whenever you need and make sure you download the updated version of it every time you use it.
3. Depending on your online store platform, choose the proper connector for your platform and start its integration with the eMAG Marketplace platform.
4. Make sure you use the correct API URL, username and password you received form the support team.
5. Use the same product ID both on the eMAG Marketplace platform and on your online store to avoid the duplicate products or other errors.
6. As for the sending products through API, we recommend you issue more simultaneous calls having fewer products than a single call having too many products which might have errors.
7. As there is no test environment, we recommend you to start the API integration with the first 5 products. This way you can easily see if you are following the correct steps and if your products are validated on the platform.
8. It is advisable that when you listing products manually or by XLS import, the product ID to be the same from your data base. This way, a future API integration will be more facile to achieve.
As with the other ways of listing products, the products listed through API integration are verified and validated by the documentation team.
Each new sent product must have a complete and correct documentation, because it will be verified by the documentation team. If it meets the eMAG documentation standards, then the products will be published on the site. If the product`s documentation does not meet the standards, you will be notified by the support team about its rejection, as well as the reasons for the rejection. After you do the necessary changes, the product will be subjected to validation once more, if this time the documentation is correct and complete, the product will be validated and published on the site.
