Products that do not comply with the eMAG Marketplace documentation standard, will not be validated after the verification made by our team members. After you listed the products, you can check their status and quickly search for those products which have not been validated due to its documentation.
In order to see your products listed to the eMAG Marketplace platform, click on the Products menu and choose the My Products category. Here you have a quick access to all the products of yours.

Select the Rejected Documentation tab to quickly view all the rejected products.
Rejected documentation – represents the status attributed to the products that have not been validated after the verification process. In the Rejection reason column you will find the reasons for each unapproved product. You can also use the Filter zone to find the rejected products, by to choosing the Rejected Documentation from the Status filter and click on the Search button. After filtering, the rejected products list is displayed, in order of their placing on the platform. The latest rejected documents appear first in the list.

The reason for rejecting the documentation may vary depending on the errors discovered during the checks made by our team. To find out the reason for the documentation rejection, press the button (i), placed in the Rejection reason column.

Clicking on this button, a new window opens, showing the error type and the message containing the problems that caused the documentation rejection.
Types of errors that can lead to documentation rejection:
Duplicate / Existing Product – The product you uploaded is already displayed on the eMAG Marketplace platform.

In this situation, you must associate your offer with the product which currently holds the documentation.
Category errors – The product was rejected because the selected category is not the correct one. Contact the eMAG Marketplace team to find a suitable category for your product.

Errors related to the title – The product name does not correspond to the requirements and standards imposed by the eMAG Marketplace platform.
Use a descriptive, short, and concrete title for your product. According to the documentation standard, the product title must be in the form:
Brand, Model, Hungarian name of the product type, Size, Color, Capacity, and other relevant attributes
All features must be separated by commas. Careful! You cannot add promotional messages or information about the discount your product has.

The product name must not contain abbreviations or common words written in full capital letters (CAPS LOCK), except for common expressions and acronyms (HDD, SSD, SD). Do not use adjectives of the form “wonderful” or “great” and do not enter details specific to your offer, such as company name, free delivery, price reduction, or even the price of the product. For products you sell as a Set, it is important to mention that it is a Set of products, plus the number of pieces per set.
Characteristic errors – Inconsistent characteristics – The information presented in other sections of the documentation does not correspond to the data filled in the Characteristics section. Correct those features which do not match the rest of the documentation.

Image errors – Images do not meet technical validation requirements. Modify images which could not be uploaded and make sure they match the eMAG Marketplace standards. Pay close attention to the image format (only images in the format: .jpg, .png, .gif, are accepted, the maximum size 8 MB and the minimum size – 640 × 640 pixels, and in the case of fashion, the minimum size accepted is 640 × 960 pixels.

The product must be positioned in the middle of the picture, to be seen from the front, having no reflections and shadows at all and cover over 80% of the image. The main image must show the entire product, on a white background, and no other items or accessories added.
It is important to add at least 4 secondary images for each product. They should be representative for each product, not for the whole family of products, if the same product is available in other variations of colors, size, etc.
Careful! For secondary images the background may be different from white.
Errors related to the description – The description must not contain information about your offer (price, delivery conditions, validity, warranty, contact details of the seller / manufacturer, promotional messages, etc.). Delete all this information. The product description should give details only about the product of the title, its characteristics, according to the main image, without referring to the variations available for that product.

Product family errors – The product family title does not meet the standards of the eMAG Marketplace platform. Correct the family name so that it is given by the name of the product, but excluding the characteristics based on which the family is created. If the product family is made on the basis of color, then you must exclude the specific color from the product family title. The same applies to the other features.

There may be more errors in the process of manually adding a product than we managed to present in this video, but each error will be explained and you will receive recommendations in the info area about the specific error.
