⚠️Starting from September 2025, the new version of the Open Hungary program eliminates category restrictions and increases the eligibility threshold from 100.000.000 HUF to 150.000.000 HUF turnover.

Who can register and how?
Eligibility criteria
- Hungarian producers from all fields of activity, including those in the food sector
- Turnover for program access – maximum 150.000.000 HUF
- Product manufacturing must be exclusively in Hungary, in compliance with all norms and legal provisions applicable to each type of product
Types of products accepted in the program:
- Artisanal products made in small series
- Authentic Hungarian preparations
- Any product made in Hungary according to legal standards
- Products from social businesses and NGOs
How to register?

- The eMAG Marketplace team will contact you and request the following documents to establish eligibility conditions:
- Articles of incorporation
- Photos or recordings of the product manufacturing process, showing how you make the respective product
- After verification and validation of your program registration, you begin to benefit from all the advantages offered

By activating the FBE service, eMAG takes over all logistical effort: reception, storage of products, processing and shipping of orders, including returns, and offers you 3 months of free product storage in the eMAG warehouse. Migration of products to the FBE program is done simply and efficiently:
- You manage everything from one place – Non-FBE and FBE products
- Unified interface for complete business management
- You sign the annex available in your account in the “Legal Documents” section and activate the program for your account
- You send products to the eMAG warehouse, and from there, eMAG takes over all logistical effort: reception, storage, shipping, customer relations
- Access to the Cross-border program:
The process is very simple – the first step is to opt for the country/countries where you want to sell: Romania and/or Bulgaria. Steps to follow:
- In your eMAG Marketplace account in Dashboard section, you will find the international expansion area where you can select the country where you want expansion (Romania and/or Bulgaria)
- You sign the terms and conditions automatically generated for your account
- You begin the process of offer synchronization and automatic translation into the language of the country you selected
- You choose the courier to deliver your cross-border orders (from available options)
- Access to eMAG Ads promotion budget:
Each producer who enters the Open Hungary program automatically receives a free Ads budget of 50 EUR (19 420 HUF) to promote their products on the platform. The budget is offered separately for each country where you choose to sell your products (RO/HU/BG).

- Commission: 0% for 12 months – for both classic seller account and FBE account on Romania and Bulgaria to support you in expanding regionally
- 50 EUR (19 420 HUF) free eMAG Ads credit for seller account activation in each country (Romania and/or Bulgaria)
