Feed import

()

In the Feeds chapter, we will describe to you an alternative method of product publishing, on the eMAG Marketplace platform, namely importing products through Feed.

Using the Feed import, you can manage your products on the site, by updating in the eMAG Marketplace a single file, right from your system. The main benefit of feed import is to publish and update your products on the site daily, with minimal effort.

Access is made from the Products menu, the Feeds section. The Feed List page opens, where you can see all the available options.

There are two types of feeds you can use: Publish products and Offer update.

Our advice is to first create a feed for Product Publishing and then, after your products are validated and put up for sale, use an Offer Update feed to update your stock and prices regularly.

The Feed List page includes:

  1. The filtering section containing filters for:

  • ID– helps you filter your feeds, by their id,
  • Status– you can select one of the available statuses: active or inactive, to identify the searched feed.
  • Blocked feeds– when you want to see if there are any blocked entries in your account. Feeds are blocked when invalid or damaged files could not be examined three times in a row by the platform.
  1. Feed list:

In this area, you can see your imports via Feed so far or you can add a new feed, using the green Add feed button on the top left.

Accessing the Add feed button will open the page for creating a new feed, in four steps:

  • General settings
  • Feed fields mapping
  • Categories mapping
  • Schedules

We invite you to follow the tutorials dedicated to the available product creation options in the eMAG Academy section.

Keep up the good work!
