What is eMAG Genius?
For customers, eMAG Genius is a subscription they pay annually, providing them with premium benefits like free delivery over a certain threshold or access to special discounts.
For sellers, it is an opportunity to increase the visibility and conversion rate of the products, by accessing the Genius badge and the Genius filter on the eMAG.hu website.
Clients will be able to quickly recognize Genius products in listing and search based on their distinctive badge, and they will also have the option to use the dedicated filter, to narrow the results and display only Genius products:
Advantages of the program
- Genius products have a 2 times better conversion rate than non-Genius products in Romania, and we are positive that you will see the same great results in Hungary as well.
- You have the option to enroll your products in Genius Deals campaigns, dedicated to the Genius customers.
- You will enjoy all the Genius easybox benefits with zero costs for you, for the first 6 months from beginning of the program!
How much does it cost for sellers?
- Between May 21 and November 20, 2024, the costs are ZERO. All products with active delivery to easybox will automatically have the Genius badge in this period, with no costs and no other implications for you, the seller.
- Starting November 21st, similar to Romania and Bulgaria, for all Genius orders in all countries, you, the seller, will pay the Genius commission.
Genius commission in Romania is 2 RON+VAT/Genius order, with the equivalent of 0.80 BGN (VAT will be added)in Bulgaria and in Hungary will be 160 HUF ( VAT will be added). The cost is applied per order, not per product, so if the client orders multiple Genius products, you will still pay only one Genius commission for the entire order.
Genius program variants
There will be two options available to join the program: eMAG Genius easybox, where the customers can benefit from free easybox delivery or eMAG Genius, where you need to provide extra benefits like next day delivery and free home delivery.
eMAG Genius easybox
- It is an extension of the Genius program, through which clients can benefit from free delivery to easybox for orders over 3990 HUF
- Qualified products are those eligible for locker delivery and have the active easybox delivery option.
- To join the program, you need to meet the eligibility criteria and sign the Genius Annex (please remember that until November 21st, your products are automatically included in the Genius trial)
- In the eMAG Genius easybox program, you will pay a commission of 160 HUF (VAT will be added) in Hungary per Genius order. As the locker delivery is a service provided by eMAG, you won’t have additional transportation cost for the Genius easybox program, you will only have to pay the Genius commission ( after the free trial).
eMAG Genius
- You offer customers all the benefits of the Genius program (free delivery to easybox for orders over 3990 HUF, free home delivery and returns for orders over 8990 HUF.
- All products qualify, except for oversized ones.
- To join the program, you need to meet the eligibility criteria and be able to offer home delivery and returns.
- You can access the Genius program in the FBE program, where eMAG ensures delivery.
- In the eMAG Genius program, you will pay a commission of of 160 HUF (VAT will be added) in Hungary per Genius order.
- To access the program, you need to sign the Genius Annex and request to us in the Message Center to activate the Full Genius benefits.
How to opt out of the eMAG Genius program
If you are part of the free trial or have signed the annex for one or more Genius options but have changed your mind and no longer want to be part of this program, you can write to us in the Message Center terminate the Annex.
