Thus, in the next period, we will activate campaigns such as Deal of the Day through which you can offer customers fresh buying opportunities at promotional prices.

 

How is a Deal of the Day campaign different from an umbrella campaign?

Umbrella campaigns

  • Addresses a wider range of product categories
  • Contains offers in which the discount was applied to the price of the product
  • The discount on the price of the product is taken into account when establishing the lowest price in the last 30 days post campaign
  • They are promoted in the external environment and through the banner on the eMAG website
  • The duration varies between 3 and 7 days (Exception: Black Friday campaign)

Deal of the Day

  • Focus the attention on certain categories
  • The discount is offered through voucher, applied directly to the shopping cart, at a minimum order value
  • The discount applied by the voucher is NOT taken into account when establishing the CMMP 30 post campaign
  • They are promoted in the external environment and by tool-type messages on the eMAG website
  • The campaign lasts only one day

For the categories in Deal of the Day, the impact on the customer’s attention is significant, and the short duration of the offers often leads to a faster purchase. Take advantage of these sales opportunities and see below the calendar of the Deal of the Day campaigns in April, the eligible categories, the minimum value of the voucher that can be offered, as well as the minimum shopping threshold that the customer must reach in the shopping cart, for each category.

If you want to participate in one of the campaigns in the Deal of the Day series, here’s what you need to know:

💡You must offer a voucher discount, applied directly to the shopping cart, at the price of the product at that moment.

💡Customers can access the discount if they place a minimum order according to the threshold set at the subcategory level.

💡The discount applies only to the products uploaded in the campaign, from the eligible categories communicated in the list here.

💡The products qualified in the campaign will receive the Deal of the Day badge only if they have the main offer.

💡At the time of purchase, the discount offered by the voucher is applied to the cart, at the price of the product, when the minimum value of purchases in the mix of subcategories is reached. Each subcategory has its own acquisition threshold (see here the thresholds), and it can be reached from a mix of products and sellers participating in the campaign.

💡The minimum value of the products in the category, within the shopping cart, can be reached from any of the participating products from the listed subcategories, but the voucher applied will be the one indicated at the category level.

💡Vouchers cannot be offered by companies that do not have a VAT code issued by a tax authority from the European Union.

💡You are free to decide if you want to participate in the campaigns, offer additional price discounts, or propose an additional value.

 

The values of the vouchers are determined by the discounts you set and are fully supported by you.
